Ireland, lying at the east of the
followinf tract of land,
described and surveyed
as follows, from the North west
corner of this said lot number seven
in the fourth range of said township
of Ireland running to the south
east, on the concession line, contai-
ning seventeen rods, then from the
south east running to the south
containing twenty eight rods, from
the south to the west nine rods,
then to the lake, 5° on that
certain tract or parcel of land in the
lot
lot number seven in the fifth range
of the said township of Ireland, and ly-
ing at the south side of the road and
being all separated from the rest of
this said lot by the said road.
Moreover, I give and begueath to my
said son Lewis Henry Lord the just
half of all my life stock that
I will have at the time of my
death and of the death of my actual
wife, I hereby in status lef these
presents to my said son Lewis Henry
Lord, my particular and residua-
ry legatee.
Aubject mornever by my said son
Lewis Henry Lord to remain with
me and my actual wife, his mo-
ther, for our both lifetime and
to cultivate also for our life
time the above described and given
properties together with the ba-
lance of the whole farm, as it
has been cultivated as far as noe
and to give me and to my said
actual wife, every year, during my
life time and the lifetime of his said mother, one thid of
the crops raised from the above
given properties and on the balance
of the whoe farm,
Further I give and begeath
to
to my daughter Clara Lord all
the remaining of my personal
and real estate, moveable and im-
moveable that I now have or
may have or pretend to at the
time of my decease, I hereby ins-
titure her my universal and resi-
duary legate.
And for the dire execution
of this present will and testa-
ment I do hereby nominate cons-
titute and appoint Winthrop
C. Lord, gentleman, my son, of
the State of Winsconsin of the
United States of America and Iram
K. Wicks, my son in law of the
State of Vermont, of the United
States of America, Merchant,
executors of this my will, authorising them to act jointly or separately as it
will be necessary
hereby revoking and making
void all former and other will
by me at my time herteo fore made
and declare this only to be my last
will and testament.
Thus done and dictated by
the said testator to us said Nota-
ry, in the presence of the said
witnesses and after these presents
having been read over by the
said Notary in the presence of

fore noon, in the year of Our
Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sevety-two.
Before me the undersigned Notary
Public duly admitted and sworn
in and for that part of Canada
called province of Quebec,
residing in the township of south
Halifax in the disctrit of Artha-
baska, was present and appeared
Lewis Dextra West, wife of Peter
Chandler Lord, of the township
of Ireland, yoeman, who has
tested as follows in the presence
of Pierre Octave Pelletier and Joseph
A. Gaudet both of them merchants
of the said township of south Halifax,
witness called for them presents.
In the name of God Amen
I Lewis Dextra West, wife of
Peter Chandler Lord, of the town-
ship of Ireland province
of Quebec, Canada, being of sound
and disposing mind and memory
and in health of body do make
and declare this to be my last will
and testament in manner fol-
lowing that is to say.
I
I order that all my just debts
and funeral expenses be in the
first place fully paid and
satisfied and after payment
thereof and of every part
thereof I give and begeath
to Lewis Henry Lord, my son
all my claims, titles, interest
pretentions and demand that I
now have or may have or be
entitle to at the time of my
decease 1° on the lot of land
number eight in the fourth
range of the said township of
Ireland 2° on the lot of land
number eight in the fifth
range of the said township of
Ireland, 3° on the lot of land
number nine in the fifth range
of the said township of Ireland
4° on that part of the lot num-
ber seven in the fourth range of
the said township of Ireland
lying at the east of the following
tract of land described and surveyed
as follows, from the North west
corner of this said lot number seven
in the fourth range of said town-
ship of Ireland running to the
south east, on the concession line
containing
containing twenty eight rods, from
the south to the west nine rods,
thence to the lake, 5° on that
certain tract or parcel of land in

farm, as it has been cultivated as
far as now, and to give me and
to my said husband, every year
during my life time and the life

time of my said husband, one third
of the crops raised from the abo-
ve given properties and on the ba-
lance of the whoe farm.
Further I give and begeath to
my daughter Celaraig Lord all the
remainder of my personal and
real estate, moveable and immo-
veable that I now have or may
have or pretend to at the time of
my decease, I hereby institute
her my universal and residuary
legatee.
And for the due execution of
this present will and testament
I do hereby nominate consti-
tute and appoint Winthrop
C. Lord, gentleman, my son, of
the State of Winsconsin of the
United States of America and
Iram K. Wicks, my son in law
of the State of Vermont, of
the United States of America,
Merchant, executors of this my
will authorising them to act jointly or separately as it will be necessary,
hereby revoking and making
